About Me

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, I was that quirky 12-year-old who would commandeer her parents’ home office to write her “novels” for hours on end. While I went on to pursue a legal career, earning my Juris Doctorate at Berkeley Law in 2022 and an associate position at Latham & Watkins LLP, I will always be that dream-weaving 12-year-old girl.

Over the years, I have continued to hone my craft through journalism opportunities, creative writing studies, and—of course—reading. But no lesson compares to the millions I learned while bringing my debut novel, NIGHT OF EVERMORE, to life.

While writing will always be my first love—and likely my last (aside from my husband, Jace, of course)—I also enjoy world travel, cooking, downhill skiing, weightlifting, and reading fantasy of all subgenres. Our Labrador-loving family is currently based in San Diego, and my favorite holiday is unsurprisingly Halloween.
